Who We Are
WACM is the University of Wisconsin-Madison's student chapter of ACM-W, ACM's Women in Computing. We provide social, educational and outreach activities for women in the Computer Sciences department, in the university, and in the surrounding community.

Hi I am a senior, who is majoring in computer science and minor in econ. On campus, I serve as a Dean's Ambassador for L&S, an organizer for MadHacks, NCWIT rep, undergraduate research assistant, and play for University Band and am in SWE. Cathy Cao
Hi, I'm Cathy! I'm a second year Master's student studying CS and also did my undergrad at UW-Madison. I've been involved with WACM for around 5 years! My most recent research project has been large language model pipelines for dataset labeling. Talk to me about houseplants, keyboards, or WACM!

Hi, I'm Carol! I am a computer sciences major with certificates in data science and gender & women studies. Outside of WACM, I work as a house fellow and conduct research in biostatistics and virology.
